Resolve: “”New Hampshire should legalize recreational marijuana””

Negative: Randy Heller

Details: Should New Hampshire laws stay as they are (legalized medical marijuna, minimal penalties for low quantity use, with increasingly severe penalties for selling, for high quantities, and for repeat offenses), or should recreational use of marijuana be fully decriminalized?

For the affirmative, Dennis Pratt, who was the #1 writer on libertarianism on Quora before being deplatformed, is a principal founder of The SHELL, is the Chef de Village of The Porcupine Freedom Festival (PorcFest), is the organizer of the Big Liberty Ideas series at The SHELL (first Wed of every month), and is a 40 year libertarian who came originally from the left. He first joined the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) in 1973. HIs background is high tech startups in emerging industries, schooling freedom, ethics, and personal growth. He holds a BA in psychology from Northwestern, an MS/MBA (high tech marketing) from MIT (awarded a fellowship by the faculty), and is ABD in computer science (operating systems) from Northwestern.

For the negative, Randy Heller, who holds a BS in Chemistry and a PhD in Pharmacy. He had a 26 year naval career, and wrote the Department of Defense’s pharmacology curriculum. He is a certified recovery coach. And he is a supporter of Ron and Rand Paul.
