Pizza, Beer, and The Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made

February 10, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a screening of what has been called “The Citizen Kane of Bad Movies” and “The Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made,” the 2001 cult classic The Room.

Created by Hollywood outsider Tommy Wiseau, using $5,000,000 of his own (mysteriously acquired) money, The Room was intended to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with other great American films, following in the footsteps of master dramatist Tennessee Williams. Mr. Wiseau wrote, directed, produced, and starred in his own picture, even though he had no talent in writing, directing, producing, or acting. Needless to say, he missed his dramatic mark.

His film was bad. Very bad. Astoundingly bad. Miraculously bad.

Marvelously and hilariously bad.

Many bad films have been made, both accidentally and on purpose, over the past 120 years, but you’ve never seen anything as entertainingly bad as this. The trailer itself, which you can see below, is a masterclass in bad trailermanship.

Homemade pizza, cooked in the Blodgett convection ovens on premise, will be served ahead of time starting at 6pm, with the screening starting at 6:30pm.

Bring your own beer.

Teens and older children who can sit through a 90 minute film are welcome, but don’t bring younger kids who might disrupt the movie.

Note that the film is rated R for sexuality, language, and brief violence.
